Scott Garrett

owner + founder

Since 1989, I have been designing and building distinctive landscapes and hardscapes rooted in craftsmanship and vision. After nearly two decades working alongside a University of Michigan landscape architect, I developed a strong foundation in horticulture, design-build, and creative landscape planning.

I first launched my own landscape company in 1992 and established Garrett Landscape Group in 2009, carrying forward a decades-long commitment to thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and elevated outdoor living.

My work is driven by a belief that outdoor spaces should be intentional extensions of the home, blending structure, texture, and natural elements into environments that are both refined and enduring. I strive to create spaces that not only function beautifully but also elevate everyday living.

Today, I lead with experience, creativity, and a clear vision. Transforming ideas into lasting environments that enhance the way people live outdoors. Outside of work, I am an avid runner and traveler, continually inspired by the landscapes and environments I experience along the way.

jason reoch

account manager + sales

Jason Reoch joined Garrett Landscape Group in 2016, bringing more than two decades of hospitality experience and a natural strength in client service. After starting in the field and working across landscape maintenance and hardscape support, he built a hands-on understanding of the trade before moving into estimating and account management.

Today, Jason manages residential and commercial maintenance accounts, oversees several field crews, and helps organize the company’s snow operations each season. He also works closely with clients on landscape improvements, guiding projects that fit both their vision and budget. Known for his approachable style and steady leadership, he believes landscaping should be accessible and well-maintained, whether it’s a large commercial property or a family backyard.

Jason takes pride in building long-term relationships and delivering practical solutions that align with each client’s needs and goals. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, traveling, sports, and a good strategy board game.

Michael Vore

Michael Vore joined Garrett Landscape Group in April 2022, bringing a strong mechanical background and years of experience in industrial manufacturing. Naturally inclined toward engines and equipment, he quickly became an essential part of the company’s daily operations.

Michael oversees the maintenance, organization, and logistics of all company equipment — from trucks and trailers to mowers, loaders, and small engines — ensuring everything operates safely and efficiently. A true hands-on problem solver, he has a working knowledge of nearly every piece of machinery in the yard and takes pride in keeping downtime to a minimum. He coordinates repairs, manages shop inventory, organizes rentals and material deliveries, and works closely with suppliers and service providers to keep projects moving.

Resourceful and dependable, Michael is often the go-to for equipment questions, product information, and vendor coordination. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and bowling.

Cindy Caballero

office assistant

Cindy Caballero joined Garrett Landscape Group in September 2024 and is often the first voice you hear when calling the office. With a background in hospitality and catering, she brings strong organizational skills and a natural warmth to client communication.

Cindy supports daily office operations by assisting with scheduling, client updates, paperwork, order coordination, and the many behind-the-scenes details that keep a small business running smoothly. She works closely with the leadership team to ensure nothing slips through the cracks and helps support both English- and Spanish-speaking team members.

Known for her cheerful spirit and attention to detail, Cindy keeps the front office welcoming. From a well-stocked candy bowl to seasonal décor, and even making sure the shop cat, Binx, is well cared for. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, her dogs, and a good book.
